AFM’s Quality Management strives to meet the requirements agreed upon with its customers, working with domestic and international regulations and investing heavily in information management, process controls and activity traceability. Its structure maintains a material laboratory, inspection by non-destructive tests and a dimensional laboratory for parts and tooling. Since 2000, its Quality Management System has been certified under the ISO 9001 standard.

Its set of non-destructive tests includes inspection by ultrasound, magnetic particles and penetrating liquids. Inspectors are qualified according to procedures based on recommended practice SNT-TC 1A from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), the industry benchmark for non-destructive testing.
